Last week I was invited to kick off the first class of a brand new course, "Current Scientific and Clinical Advancements in Cancer," at Southern Carolina State University. I introduced pancreatic cancer and why this disease has a devastating five-year survival rate of only 11%. I talked about my current projects and the small role I hope to play in waging war against pancreatic cancer.

I loved sharing my research and answering the many great questions from some very bright students!
